INTERNATIONAL MARCONI DAY The "International Marconi Day" (IMD) organized by the "Cornish Radio Amateur Club" is an annual 24 hours event to honour the birthday of Guglielmo Marconi (Apr 25, 1874). This is not a contest but HAMs get the opportunity to work with historic Marconi sites. This year's IMD will take place on Apr 21. See also: http://www.gb4imd.org.uk

Ladislav Pagac,OM4DA, and Jan Horsky,OM3MM, Slovakia's leading DXer with 389 DXCCs (mixed) will stay silent forever as well.
Jean Porquet,FP5BU, dies on Apr 9.
Our condolences and sympathy are with their families and friends.
We do not want to be sad that we lost them, but grateful that we could get to know them as a radio friend. We will always keep them in memory.
