30/11/2012: A team of JA operators will be active as PJ5J from St. Eustatius (NA-145, WFF PAFF-025, WLOTA 1851) between 30 November and 12 December 2012. QRV on 160-10 metre CW, SSB and the Digital modes. They will participate in the ARRL 10m Contest (8-9 December) and possibly other contests during that period. The team plans on at least one station on the air for 24 hours a day. Two stations will have 500w amps and another will operate barefoot. Antennas will be verticals for the low bands (w/beverage) and a Spiderbeam for the higher bands. Operators mentioned are Takayuki JA1MZL, Yutaka JJ1LIB, Naoki JN1RVS, Hideyuki JJ1CBY, Katsu JA1DXA, Toshihiko JN1HOW and Isao JH1ROJ. QSL Manager will be Nao, JA1HGY (direct or JARL bureau). 01/12/2012: Gil, N2GG, will be active holiday style as C6AGG from Grand Bahama Island (NA-080, WLOTA 0527) on 1-13 December 2012. He will operate SSB and some CW on 80-10 metres. QSL via N2GG. [425 DX News]

01/12/2012: Robert, AK4BM, will once again be active from Green Turtle Cay (NA-080), Bahamas, as C6AGT between 1st December 2012 and the end of January 2013. A 10 metre beacon will be active during the day and C6AGT will be operating SSB and possibly Digital modes (PSK31 and JT65) during the evenings on various bands from 40m though 10m as conditions permit. Robert may also operate from unihabited islands around Green Turtle Cay using a low power transmitter (Yaesu 817nd) and wire antennas. Likely this will be on the 20m band. 01/12/2012: Fred, PA0FAW (ISWL Member, FISTS #9858) will be operating with the special call sign PG100NOM from 1-28 December 2012, mostly in CW and SSB with some Digital modes. He will once again be QRV from the De Hoge Veluwe National Park (WFF PAFF-005). There is now a 3 element beam for 20, 15 and 10, so Fred hopes more DX can be found. 02/12/2012: Look for "Buddies in the Caribbean" operators Scott J6/KA9P, Rob J6/N7QT, Hugh J6/W4VAB, Jerry J6/W5TDY, Ev J6/W6ABM, Bryan J6/WB8ISG, Budd J68FF (W3FF) and Guy J68UN (N7UN) to be active from Chateau Devaux, Cap Estate, island of St. Lucia (NA-108, WLOTA 1336) from 2-11 December 2012. 02/12/2012: The Hellenic Amateur Radio of Association of Australia (HARAOA) is organising a DXpedition to Campbell Island (OC-037, WFF ZLFF-019, WW Loc. RD47NL), New Zealand, from 2-9 December 2012. ZL9 Campbell Island NZ is number 15 on the current DXCC most wanted list. The ZL9HR DXpedition team will include Pista HA5AO, Dave K3EL, Gene K5GS, Glenn KE4KY, Don VE7DS, Tommy VK2IR, John VK3YP, Les W2LK, John 9M6XRO and Jacky ZL3CW. QRV on 160-6 metres, all modes. 04/12/2012: Haru, JA1XGI, has planned a DX vacation and will be active as V63XG from Yap Island (OC-012) between 4th and 12th December 2012. 05/12/2012: XU1A will be reactivated - FGC (Foundation for Global Children) will make another DX-pedition to the Kingdom of Cambodia (XU) to support a vocational training center for persons with disabilities, especially tragic landmine victims. The center teaches skills such as repairing radio, TV and motorcycles so that they can become an active member of society and can be self-supported. This DX-pedition will be also some of the 1998 XU1A members? reunion. Team members include Zorro JH1AJT (team leader), Jay JA1TRC, Aki JA4EKO, Masaru JA5AQC, Champ E21EIC, Kazu JH1OGX and some others. QRV on 40-10 metres, using FT450D at 100 watts into 4ele OWA yagi and G5RV. 08/12/2012: Ralph, H44RK, will be active as 5W0RK from Apia, Upolu Island (OC-097, WLOTA 1944), Samoa, between 8 December 2012 until 1 March 2013. QRV mainly on 20-10 metres, including some BPSK modes. QSL via NR6M, direct or bureau. Logs will be uploaded to LoTW. [NR6M]

08/12/2012: Steve, 9M6DXX, disappointed with the current poor conditions and high noise level at his home QTH, has booked two night's accommodation at a seaside hotel where he will be able to put up vertical antennas by the sea. Steve plans to be active (SSB only) as 9M6DXX (IOTA OC-088, WLOTA 0119) on 8 and 9 December 2012, using 400 watts to an 80m quarter-wave inverted-L with 50ft vertical section and feedpoint just inches above the sea at high tide. On 10m he will use a vertical dipole, again right on the ocean, and will participate part-time in the ARRL 10m Contest (Single Op, HP, SSB). On the other bands he will use a Butternut HF6V-X with 12/17m add-on kit, elevated about 15 feet above the sea. Steve will be checking 80m SSB around the greyline for Brazil, northern South America, the Caribbean and eastern USA and Canada around 1000 - 1050UTC and 2130 - 2215UTC on both days. He will also look for northern and western Europe on 80m SSB between 1500 and 1800UTC. If propagation is no good on 80m he will try 40m instead. QSL 9M6DXX via M0URX: direct or bureau. 01/12/2012: Wakefield District Radio Society will be operating GB0IDD for the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities over the weekend of 1 to 3 December 2012 from the Wakefield 23rd Troop Scout HQ.
