Island activities:


AF-004, EA8, Canary Islands:
Andrea,EA8/IK1PMR, and Claudia,EA8/PA3LEO, will be active from Tenerife (DIE S-012, WLOTA 1276, EAA TF, Grid Loc IL18) between Dec 3 and Feb 12. They will work on all HF bands and 6m with Andrea focussing on CW and Claudia focussing on RTTY. QSLs via homecalls. See also:http://www.ik1pmr.com

AF-049, 3B8, Mauritius Island:
Jacques,3B8/F1BCS, is working in SSB, PSK and RTTY on 20m/15m from Mauritius (WLOTA 0595) between Nov 27 and Dec 14. QSL only via eQSL.

NA-080, C6, Little Bahama Bank group:
Robert,AK4BM, will be active again as C6AGT from Green Turtle Cay (NA-080) between Dec 1 and the end of January 2013. A 10m beacon will be active during the day. Robert will be operating only SSB and possibly digital modes (PSK31 and JT65) on 40m-10m. He may also operate from unihabited neighbouring islands using his Yaesu FT-817 and wire antennas, most likely on 20m. QSL direct via AK4BM, he appreciates SASE/green stamps but not required

Gil,N2GG, will stay on Grand Bahama Isand (WLOTA 0527) from Dec 1-12. He plans to work holiday style as C6AGG in SSB and CW on 80m-10m. QSL via N2GG.

NA-108, J6, St. Lucia:
The "Buddies in the Caribbean" are planning another Mini-DXpedition to St. Lucia (WLOTA 1336) from Dec 2-11. Scott,J6/KA9P, Rob,J6/N7QT, Hugh,J6/W4VAB, Jerry,J6/W5TDY, Budd,J68FF (W3FF), Ev,J6/W6ABM, Bryan,J6/WB8ISG, and Guy,J68UN (N7UN), will be QRV with three stations on 160m-10m at the same time. They will join the ARRL 10m Contest as J68UN. Their goal is to make an 'ultralite' DXpedition with simple antennas, battery-powered portable radios and DXers who have never experienced the other side of a pileup. Most of all they just want to have some fun. QSLs via homecalls (direct/LoTW).

NA-145, PJ5/PJ6, Sint Eustatius and Saba:
A team of Japanese HAMs will be QRV in SSB/CW/digital modes on all HF bands signing PJ5J from St. Eustatius (WFF PAFF-025, WLOTA 1851) between Nov 30 and Dec 12. Logs will be uploaded to ClubLog/LoTW daily and OQRS will be available. QSL via JA1HGY (bureau/direct).

OC-012, V6, Yap Island:
Haru,JA1XGI, is planning to stay on Yap Island and wants to become active as V63XG from Dec 4-12. His focus will be on the WARC bands where he wants to work in CW, SSB, RTTY and JT65.

OC-037, ZL9, Campbell Island:
The Hellenic Amateur Radio of Association of Australia (HARAOA) is conducting a DXpedition to the subantarctic Campbell Island (WFF ZLFF-019, Loc RD47NL) from Nov 28 until Dec 9.
Campbell Island is on rank 15 of the most wanted DXCC entities.
The team of Pista,HA5AO, Dave,K3EL, Gene,K5GS, Glenn,KE4KY, Don,VE7DS, Tommy,VK2IR, John,VK3YP, Les,W2LK, John,9M6XRO, and Jacky,ZL3CW, will be QRV as ZL9HR in all modes on 160m-6m.
This is the largest DXpedition organized by an Australian club of the last 25 years.
QSL via EB7DX (bureau/direct/LoTW). OQRS will be available as well.
