 Sponsored by the Ivano-Frankivsk branch of the Ukrainian Amateur Radio League.  The Diploma "PRYKARPATTYA" is offered by the Ivano-Frankivsk regional branch UARL and may be earned by contacts using two-way radio with amateur radio stations in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast of the Ukraine.

Depending on the location of the applicant you must meet the following conditions:

1.Europeans must make at least 15 QSOs using any bands and modes from 18-28 MHz (including WARC bands) . If all contacts are made on 50 MHz and above, only 5 QSOs are needed.

2. Amateurs from all other continents must make spend 10 on HF and 3 QSO on VHF.

3. SWLs may earn the award on same terms.

For all applicants the award may be endorsed for a single band or mode. The Diploma is issued on your request, based on log extract you send to sponsor by e-mail to At your request the award is available as a digital image to be printed on your equipment. In addition, each applicant can send a photo (of about 150 KB) which will be included in the design of the diploma. Printed copies of the award are available and the sponsor asks that you pay only the cost of postage to send the award by mail. The charge for this delivery is 7 grn.
