Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has declared a state of emergency for three months. An as yet unconfirmed report indicates amateur radio licenses have been revoked. However, Southgate News has been unable to confim any of these reports.

A post put on a Yaesu FT817 site says the Supreme Council of Radio and Television of Turkey (RTUK) has canceled the licenses of over 20 radio and television broadcasters as well as ham radio operators.
