TONY'S 10 METRE BAND REPORT - December 1, 2016

December 1, 2016

Up to just before the weekend CW contest, conditions were very poor. Even during the contest there was not the usual high number of contacts.

I worked no one, I’ve been setting up (playing with) a new computer!

Best DX probably YV1SW (Venezuela) , 9Z4Y (Trinidad and Tobago), PJ2/N7IR (Curacao), HK1NA (Columbia), ZD8W (Ascension Is) and CW4MAX (Uruguay) (nice call for a CW contest!) Also, with nice weather and a great location 8Q7SP (Maldives)

Thursday Rafael, YV5RED/qrp worked: LU3EJW -07 @1818 and heard LU4EEO -5 @1755, W3ATV -12 @1758, PY3FJ -11 @1813, CX9CZ -5 @1825, PU2RKW -4 @1827, LU8ENU -11 @1829, PY4WVZ -15 @1833, K5CRJ -20 @1839, PY7OO -15 @1857. Monday he just heard PY2EPL -16 @2020.

Sun: Three sunspots but another potentially more powerful one seems to be emerging.

Stoke beat Watford 0 – 1 last Sunday. This weekend we should beat Burnley, I’ll be there.
The England cricket team lost again to India. Poor batting on our behalf, but to be fair they bowled well.
