     The special event station R1812SM will be QRV from various battlefields
     in the Smolensk region celebrating the 200th anniversary of the French

     The special callsign R10RLHA will be used to celebrate the 10th jubilee
     of the Russian LightHouses Award program. Expect activity from several

     The special event station XL31812 commemorates the Bicentennial of the
     War of 1812 from Aug 3-5. The station will be QRV from Fort Amherstburg

     The 34th annual Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival will be held in
     Port Colborne located on the historic Welland Canal from Aug 3-6.
     The festival features tall ships, boat cruises, marine museum displays,

     Radio Club (NPARC) is taking part in the festival by operating the
     special event station VE3WCD (Welland Canal Days) on 7250, 14250,
