geria celebrates the 60th anniversary of their Revolution which separated them from France, and launched an independent country in North Africa. The Amateurs Radio Algeriens (ARA), their national radio amateur society is offering this certificate to celebrate the event. To obtain the Diploma you must earn a total of at least 60 points by working Algerian stations, including a number of special event operations using the rare 7V prefix.

All Amateur radio operators, radio clubs and SWLs can participate in the contest on all modes and all HF bands authorized.

Dates and times:
From October 31st 2014 at 23:00 UTC
To December 31st, 2014 at 23:00 UTC.

The same station can be contacted once per band for award credit..
Correspondents must exchange their respective reports.

Point Values:
a. Official Station 7V7V =15 points.
b. Official station 7Y9A =10 points.
c. Official station 7W9A =10 points.
d. Official station 7V60R =15 points.
e. Radio Club Station 7X =10 points.
f Ordinary 7X stations =05 points.

Send a log extract to the contest manager ARA by registered mail: A.R.A., PO Box 01, RP Alger ALGERIA on or before 31 January 2015. The log must be written in uppercase. Enclose application fee of $US15 or 10 Euros to cover costs of printing and mailing.

Make sure your list is complete and accurate. Errors may cause the award to be not issued.
a.  The QSO must not be with a nonexistent 7X call sign.
b. The QSO must be in the logs of the listed station.
c. The call sign must be complete or the contact be cancelled.
